Wow…this is disrespectful on so many levels. They are mocking people who are ACTUALLY dealing with the disease while calling Molina a cancer. This is a very ugly thing to do.

How disgusting! !! Molina should be well respected he Always Gives players on the other team credit and he seems like a very nice person how sad for Boston to have fans like them! !! Low lifes

You are a seriously mental person that will probably be put in jail in the near future. Cancer Is nothing to joke about bastard. My Aunt is dying right now from it, I’m sure you don’t care….what if it’s you are your family member soon? I think you better grow up and take life more seriously than a baseball game. God can throw you a lot of curves. A batter batter swing to him and make him grow up and find a heart.

We might call them names, we might make funny pictures, we might drop the F Bomb. But St. Louis has class, and we wont go to the level this went. Good Luck Boston, Because St Louis Is In It To Win It!

I would really like to have a conversation with this “woman”. Cancer isn’t funny. Ever. I would like her to walk in my shoes today and see if she is still smiling. This is disrespectful to the 10th power. The smile on her face tells me she thinks this is a joke. What a absolute fool. One day cancer could touch someone she knows and loves and we will see if she is still smiling.

HORRIFIC! DISGUSTING! APPALLING! NOT ENOUGH WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW OFFENSIVE I FIND THIS WOMAN TO BE. THERE IS NOTHING, I REPEAT NOTHING, FUNNY ABOUT CANCER. I HOPE THIS PICTURE CIRCULATES AND EVERYONE SHE KNOWS SEES IT. SHE IS JUST LUCKY SHE WASN’T SITTING NEAR ME!!! CLASSY BOSTON, CLASSY…..

    Just somebody’s ill-bred and ill-raised children.
The rapidly decreasing levels of taste and decorum that are being exhibited in today’s society is both depressing and embarrassing.

That’s a Cardinal fan and she made a mistake which she posted saying…..”For those that think I woulud ever mock cancer, my sign meant which player inspires me to stand up to cancer. I’m sorry it came across poorly”. So get facts straight before posting!

  7. Lynette

May cancer never walk through her family and then have someone with her same mentality (obviously that of an ass) mock its seriousness! People with that mentality should be band from EVERY public sporting function.

I am pretty sure that this woman is not a red sox fan, so don’t start pointing fingers too quickly. In fact another friend of mine said that “Her name is Sarah Newlon. She was on The Bachelor 11 and The Bachelor Pad 3. She classless, no matter what. She supposedly is a Cardinals fan.”

  9. Abe

You have embarrassed not only yourself, but also the Red Sox, and ALL of Boston. This is definitely NOT an example of “Boston Proud” that was so boldy and rightly proclaimed following the tragedy at the Marathon.

  10. Lori

Saw them on TV when it happened. We were all commenting on how classless they were for laughing through the presentation – didn’t see they had put Molina on their sign. ZERO class.

  11. Kayla

First off, how do we know thats a boston fan? You can only see her red and white jacket and it just so happens that both the teams are red and white. -.- ALSO, That sign says “Stand up for” Not “Stand Up 2”

You people are so judge mental you don’t even know whats going on in this picture.

  12. danielle

Wow.. this is why St Louis has the best fans this is not a joking matter. You would not see a stl fan “joking” at something as serious as this or disrespect another team like this. I only hope they see this and think long amd hard about how “funny” this is.

  13. Randy

Total lack of class. The moment the Cards, Sox, Fans, Umps, announcers, camera men and everyone else shared showed the true nature of everyone coming together for a bigger fight to fight. Sports has some magical moments Last nights display was one of the best. You could have heard a pin drop. It’s too bad some little bitch had to call attention to herself by such a childish ploy.

It’s a shame that this is how Red Sox fans are portraying themselves. The ignorance of what those signs mean to those affected by the disease is saddening. You can’t fix stupid. I hope they realize how idiotic they look pulling off this ‘joke’.

  16. Keryn

This is why cardinal nation is the best– this just makes Boston look like trash– seriously, dumb chick, I Hope you’re never plagued with this disease… Totally bad karma…. Grow up and act your age… Show some respect. Right now you’re looking like a piece of trash– over a national pastime GAME!! I’d hate to have to look in the mirror every morning at the person who disrespected so many in one fell swoop:( shame on you!!

  17. Keryn

I hope she never has to face the ugly disease– that’s why we’re cardinal nation– we aren’t mean OR spiteful— but she’s obviously ignorant….. Grow up sweetheart– this is a national pastime GAME– what your holding up in a RESPECTFUL moment is a tribute to someone who died…. Basically that makes you an idiot… I’m sorry for you–

  18. Melanie

Well, that explains why everyone HATES Boston fans. Completely rude and disrespectful to all human beings. Lady, next time, think about the actual people fighting a battle with cancer and not about how you find your pathetic humor funny. No one’s laughing other than you and your idiot friends.

      1. David

Not a Boston fan? Are you looking at the same photo that the rest of us are talking about? Person sitting to her left has a Bosox hat one. Person to her right has a Bosox hoodie on. She’s wearing a knockoff sport jacket that resembles the a traditional Bosox design (though admittedly you can’t see the logo on it) and is making fun of Molina. What kind of fan is she because she’s definitely not a Cards fan?
